So July (and the first part of August) were insanely busy! I am so grateful to my clients in Okinawa and the love that they have shown me since I brought my photography to the island.

I can’t even express the amount of gratitude I have towards everyone here. Even other photographers~ so nice! So it has been great and I hope it will continue!

Next week, my husband is being deployed. Yeah, yeah, it comes with the territory~ I know This will be his 3rd deployment but his first in about 3 years. I’m a little apprehensive about it. Especially since this time, we have an almost 6 year old who is going into KINDERGARTEN (starting the week after my husband leaves ) and another little guy who is 19 months and can be a holy terror… hehe.

So ~ Kelly Ann Photography will be taking a few weeks off during the month of September. I need to be there for my children when Daddy leaves and we need to support each other more than anything else.

I do have a few sessions scheduled at the end of September/beginning of October, so I think by then I will be ready to get out and shoot the beautiful scenery that is Okinawa

Ok enough blabbing, onto my entry to IHF’s “Beach Fun” Challenge. I have a TON of portraits at the beach since that’s where I did a majority of my sessions in July, but here is a favorite of mine ?
